The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

- 7:30 AM: Doors open (30 min earlier)
- 7: 30 - 8:30 AM: Inspections (full hour instead of 30 min)
- 8::45 - 9:15 AM: Drivers Meeting (30 min instead of 15)
- 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Qualification Matches/ Skills/ Interviews
- 12:30 - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break (30 min instead of 1 hour)
- 1:00 - 3:30 PM: Continue Quals/ Skills/ Interviews
- 3:30 - 3:40 PM: Alliance Selection
- 3:45 - 5:00: Elimination Matches and Awards (1 hr 15 min instead of 30 min)

In the event of cancellation due to weather, refunds will be issued if a makeup date is not found.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
- Refunds will be issued if a makeup date is not found.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- Refunds will only be issued if a team is found to fill that spot. No refunds will be given for withdrawls less than 2 weeks prior to the tournament.
- Regardless of reason for issuing a refund the $5 REC fee is not refundable.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging
- The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.
- Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
