This tournament is by invitation only at this time. It is further restricted to the VEX IQ teams of the West Vancouver School district #45 at this time due to Covid restrictions.
This event page will be updated as soon as we can open up the event and all teams will be contacted if we cannot run the event.
There will be expectations and safety requirements to comply with any safe practices for the school, the district and the province.
 Each participant must complete the Participant Release Form prior to participating in the tournament.
 For those teams interested in the Design and Excellence Awards, Engineering Notebooks should be submitted to Dr. Chugani latest by 5:30 pm on Tuesday, Nov 10, 2020 in the Robotics Room T107 at West Vancouver Secondary School.
 Each team is limited to a maximum of 4 people. (3 team members + 1 coach).

8:30 am - 9:00 am: Check-in and Inspection
9:20 am - 11:30 pm: Skills Runs
11:30 pm - 12:15 pm: Alliance Matches
12:15 pm - 12:45 pm: Lunch
12:45 pm - 3:00 pm: Alliance Matches
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Finals Matches
3:30 pm - 3:45 pm: All teams clean up
3:45 pm - 4:15 pm: Awards
4:30 pm: Event over
We will need numerous volunteers to help run this event. Please see the Volunteer Roles Overview Guide for a list of various volunteer opportunities. In addidtion we will also need Photographers.

If the event cannot run because of weather or other event, teams will be contacted by email and if very last minute by phone.
Please make sure your contact information is upto date in Robot Events and you have provided us with those current emails and phone numbers.
Refunds will be made on a case by case basis.
As we get closer to the event this page will be updated to the best practices we have in place at this time.
But expect to have 2m spacing where possible.
There will be hand sanatizer stations (but bring your own too)
No spectator seating.
Masks will be required in certain interactions and are encouraged at all times.
Lunches will not be available. Please bring your own lunches/snacks/drinks. Except for water, you can't eat/drink inside the Robotics Rooms, but may step outside to grab a bite.
Please bring your own equipment (& spare parts) to run your robot
The event will be held in the Robotics Rooms in the Tech Wing at West Vancouver Secondary School, 1750 Mathers avenue, West Vancouver..
Please enter through the main entrance to the Tech Building from the Staff Parking Lot.
