Volunteer Sign-Up

Volunteering at the VEX Robotics World Championship is a very rewarding and exciting experience. Your support is needed to successfully deliver this event to students from around the World.

Volunteers are being sought for full days, your involvement and support will make a big difference for the participating students.

What Benefits Will I Receive as a Volunteer?

Donate at least a full day and receive:

  • -A free event t-shirt
  • -Free meal credits for each day

Donate 2 or more full days and you will be eligible for:

  • -All of the benefits mentioned above, plus discounted hotel rates. Details will be posted in January. Volunteers will receive details regarding hotel discounts once they have signed up on-line to volunteer. Only confirmed volunteers will be able to book these special rates.

What Positions Are Available?

There are many positions available to choose from. Many volunteer positions can be performed after reading a single page of instructions and receiving hands-on training at the event. Some positions are team queuing (staging the teams), field reset (a great job for students), pit support, and administrative support to name a few. If you are interested in being a Judge, Field Manager, or Referee, we ask that you have previous experience in these positions. For a more detailed description of positions, refer to the List of Volunteer Positions.

How Do I Volunteer?

Volunteers can sign up by simply filling out the online form.

The on-line form will allow potential volunteers to provide experience information and essential contact information so we can contact you about a volunteer opportunity.

This document will help you understand your volunteer role at the World Championship.
