The seedbed of Robotics Robotic Salle 2 aims to promote research, construction in robotics, automation, control, electronics and programming activities for applications according to the challenges, and didactic established in each season. The hotbed of robotics is an academic space in which La Salle students have the opportunity to enhance their skills in programming logic through the implementation of algorithms in a block programming language. In addition, it is necessary to interact with the hardware, which has multiple sensors, motors and multifunctional parts offered by the Vex Robotics Kits, which the seedbed has.

Season

Professors Jhon Jariro Puentes head of the technology area, Ing Gustavo Adolfo Reyes Professor of technology and Ing Jose Alexander Gonzalez collaborator and Commercial and Education Manager of the Steamtech Robotic Foundation They were appointed to create the seedbed of Robotics and teach at the institution and paths of the municipality in the city of Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area with its rural sector in the municipalities of Lebrija and girón with the participation of 40 children who did not have any training in electronic robotics and programming. Our seedbed through the foundation ventures into research in the Colombian Network of Redcolsi Research Seedbeds in which our seedbed is about training children regardless of what type of knowledge they have in the assembly, programming and competition of the robot according to the different challenges. In this case the children already had in less than 1 year the participation of an international open in Hawaii in the month of July 2019 International Open Mark Leon won the prize for construction and design of the robot and reaching the end of alliances. And in this same season I participate in the II international tournament in Medellin Colombia won the quota at the vex World Cup with the prize of excellence award that accredited us to move to the World Cup in the Vex iq category
