General Info

Presented by Noblesville High School Robotics:

Sign your 4th-8th grader up for the inaugural Noblesville Girl Powered STEM Workshop! Participants will have interactive STEM activties, hear from special guest speakers (including a panel of professionals from SMC's Women in STEM), increase their STEM knowledge, and learn from high schoolers who have been focused on STEM and robotics since they were the same age as the students! Participants are welcome to bring their own (personal or team) robots to share with fellow participants during the workshop's show and tell portion of the workshop.

The workshop will be hosted at Noblesville Schools Community Center, 1775 Field Dr, Noblesville, IN 46060. All students are invited to participate regardless of school affliation.

This will take place Saturday, October 19th, from 1:00-5:00pm.

  • 1:00-1:10 — Welcome

  • 1:10-1:30 — Surprise Female STEM Professional Speaker!

  • 1:30-4:10 — Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math Station; as rotations with small groups

  • 4:10-4:40 — SMC Women in STEM Panel

  • 4:40-5:00 — Local Teams Robot Show & Tell

Participants will be contacted if the event must be rescheduled.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued in the case of an event cancellation (less a $5 processing fee).
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Please only register students that intend to attend. Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for any other reason.
Payment Deadline is October 19th, 2024. Not paying by this date may mean that your student may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.
