General Info

Join us over your MEA break!  This workshop is for girls in grades 5-8.  Students will learn basic programming skills using VEX IQ robots and VEXcode IQ.  Workshop lessons will cover setting up motors and the controller, simple autonomous commands, and programming some sensors.  They will also tour SCTCC Skilled Trades & Industry programs and participate in other hands on activities.

Workshop participants will need to bring a nut free bag lunch, snack, and water bottle to camp.

Participants will be required to wear closed toe shoes.  Safety glasses will be provided for the tour portion of the workshop.
