General Info

YWLA Robotics is happy to host the 2nd Annual West Texas Girl Powered Conference for High School school female students from the Region of El Paso at our campus the Young Women's Leadership Academy located at 8040 Yermoland Dr.

This year we will provide the opportunity for our young ladies to explore different careers and activities that will enrich their skills for the workforce, as well as have presenters that will ignite their passions and purpose!

Capacity per school:

We are allowing 1 teacher to bring 30 young ladies from their school since we have a limited capacity.

How this works:

  • Register each member and yourself (the adult). 
  • Upon completion of registration, you will receive an email about your student's interest, lunch, t-shirt information, and transportation.
  • If you registered and cannot attend we ask that you contact us no later than September 27, doing so later, you are responsible for paying for the food and shirts that were ordered.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of an emergency, we will follow the safety protocols instilled in our district. If we have bad weather, I will let you know about postponing time or dates.

Refund and Payment Policies

This event is free, but in case you need to cancel your group's participation, do so prior to September 27th. After the date stated, we will charge $10 per student to cover the cost of the shirts we have ordered.
