S.T.A.R. (Students, Technology, and Robots) Camp is for students entering grades 6-12 in fall 2023.  Students will learn how robots work and further their communication and teamwork skills.  Campers will tour and participate in hands-on activities in the SCTCC Manufacturing Programs (CNC & Advanced Machining, Energy & Electronics, Mechanical Design Technology, and Welding/Fabrication).  Students will also tour a local manufacturing company during camp.  The week will conclude with a robot demonstration day for family and friends to attend.

Snacks and lunch will be provided daily to camp participants.

Participants will be required to wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and safety glasses while participating in activities.  Safety glasses will be provided.

A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Please contact Katie Frank at [email protected] for details on these and how to register.
