This is an Aerial Drone Competition WORKSHOP for Mission 2024: Eclipse on the westside of Los Angeles in beautiful Santa Monica, CA, just a couple of miles from the Pacific Ocean. 

Open to anyone who is interested in learning about the Aerial Drone Competitions and the missions.

Update:  There will be NO FEE for this Workshop. Come join us as we all learn together!   

• Because space is limited please register for the FREE workshop or send an email to [email protected] to reserve your spots. 
• Free parking available on a first come first served basis in small parking lot on campus. 
• Overflow parking will be available for $5 per vehicle directly across 18th Street to the east of campus. 

  Doors open at 8:30am and will be followed at 9am by:

• Presentation of Mission 2024: Eclipse
• Demo of Three Aerial Drone Competition Missions (Teamwork, Autonomous, Piloting)
• Q&A
• Opportunity to fly your drone on the Competition Fields for practice

The workshop will end at 12:30pm.

Registration Details:

The Workshop Registration is limited to the first 20 TEAMS due to event space.  Each team is limited to FOUR people max (adults and students). To Register for this event, the adult mentor will register on behalf of the entire team/group or send an email on behalf of the group to reserve spots.  Each student does not need to register individually.  

• Safety glasses are required for students. 
• This is a workshop demonstration only.  Not an actual competition
• Venue Location: Pacifica Christian High School, 1730 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90403 (at the SW corner of Wilshire Blvd and 18th St).  The school entrance is on 18th Street. 
• Free parking available on a first come first served basis in small parking lot on campus. 
• Overflow parking will be available for $5 per vehicle directly across 18th Street to the east of campus.
