General Info

The Bountiful STEM Educational Foundation in collaboration with Girl Powered, a female-oriented initiative of VEX Robotics, and the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, a US-registered NGO, will hold free month-long publicity, service projects, and  STEM Workshops on the 28th of October at the Bountiful STEEM Educational Center near the Paloma Hotel in Accra, Ghana.

GIRL POWERED STEM WORKSHOPS 2.0  10TH- 30TH OCTOBER, 2021

  1. The arrival of participants and registrations 8:00AM -8:30 AM
  2. Welcome Remarks &  Review of schedule for the day 8:35 AM -8:45 AM
  3. STEM CAREER WORKSHOP - 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM
  4. 1st Keynote address - 11:00 AM-11:30 AM
  5. STEM Research project presentation 11:30 pm-12:00 pm
  6. Lunch break 12:00 pm-1:00 pm
  7. Team VEX IQ robotics competitions 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm
  8. 2nd Keynote address - Leadership and Innovation 3:00 pm-3:30 pm
  9. Announcement of Winner team from Robotics competition 3:30 pm-4:00 pm
  10.  Presentation of certificates/ awards and Closing remarks 4:00 pm-4:30 pm

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

When there is an emergency measures will be put in place in order to make sure nothing wrong happens to anyone. We will have an emergency team around to ensure that all the participants are safe during the program. In case of bad weather, the program would be canceled.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: There will be a refund.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refund.
