Welcome to the NH Aerial Drone Competition Kick off Workshop and Scrimmage
The goal of the day is to introduce coaches and students to the CoDrone EDU and review the format and rules of the Aerial Drone Competition. The Aerial Drone Competition is ideal for students grades 5 and up.
During the first part of the day we will review

Drone Safety and Flight Controls

Coding the drones for Autonomous Flight

Competition Logbooks and details of the Communication Mission

Review of the rules and what to expect at an Aerial Drone Competition.
During the 2nd part of the day teams will participate in a scrimmage including
-
Teamwork Mission

Autonomous Flight Mission
-
Pilot Skills Mission
Each Workshop registration is for up to 5 participates and will include lunch. This will be a hands on workshop where you and your students will learn the basics about flying and coding the CoDrone EDU.
Our hosts, Manchester Community College and Spark Academy will provide pizza during the lunch break.

No volunteers are needed for this event.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If there is an emergency or bad weather we will rechedule this event to another date. Coaches will be contacted by email.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Coaches will be refunded.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Coaches may apply their fee to a future workshop or competition.
