Event Info

This half-day workshop is for all girls, and no prior robotics or programming experience is needed. It’s a great way to introduce robotics to those who may be curious, and we have sessions planned for a wide range of experience levels and interests.

Magikid Robotics Labs carefully screen various types of robots and programming methods, create unique project-based learning courses, stimulate young learners' interests into passion, and provide them with professional guidance for the future success.

As a technology brand founding by two moms (and most Magikid labs are also managed by moms) Magikid is willing to take on this community respon

Agenda

1. Girl Powered Magikid Video

2. Opening speech (partly via online Girl Powered winning team member, Angell, female scientist)

3. VEX IQ basic robot construction

4. VEX IQ Girl Powered Workshop competition (VEX may also provide trophies, but there is no promotion quota)

5. Give prizes and gifts (everyone has gifts, Magikid lab provides )

6. Scratch JR fun programming, OLLO construction, Wonder small experience class (mainly girl relatable content)

7. Girls' parents support Girl Powered so much? Online Parent Meeting

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Our event will be holded indoor at our lab, no cancelation due to the weather. 

 

 

Refund and Payment Policies

Note: Up to lab to decide, eample:

 

Send email to [email protected] - refunds will be granted on a case by case basis. Refund request must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

Health and Safety Policies

All participants (adults and children) must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and we will be follow all county and state health safety measures. We may also require masks of all participants (adult and children).
