General Info

Hello! We are excited to have the opportunity to work with you at the VRC holonomic drive and GPS Sensor workshop at the Experience STEAM event at the Mall of America. This workshop is for both students and/or coaches that are interested in learning more about the VEX V5 GPS sensor and holonomic drive bases (commonly called X-drive). Participants will learn how they can be utilized together in a competition setting. Students will be given a prebuilt robot with holonomic capabilities and will work through several coding challenges that will enhance their coding skills and leave them with a new skill set that they can share with their school or organization.

Your instructors for this session will be Jared Sanger, a VRC coach from East Grand Forks, and Carter Malone a former VRC participant and college student at the University of North Dakota. We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the event! Please email Jared with any questions about the event.
