General Info

The VEX Robotics Competition - Texas High School Coach Development training is geared towards educators, mentors, and coaches who are implementing the VEX Robotics Competition for the first time. The training will provide hands-on activities including building a V5 robot, basic programming, troubleshooting, and first-year team implementation. This training will also include a quick overview of the VEX Robotics Educational free resources such as STEM Labs, Teacher Certification, and the extensive VEX Knowledge base. The training will be held on July 16th and 17th from 8:30-3:30. You must have a V5 robot and a laptop to be eligible for the training. In-person spots are limited so RSVP to andy_schaafs@roboticseducation.org if you are interested. If you are unable to attend the in-person training, a link to view the recording will be sent to registered attendees at a later date.

Note: An ASL interpreter is going to assist in the in-person and streamed training.
