This three-day training will teach participants how to design and program a VEX V5 robot for classroom and competition use. Day 1 provides an Introduction to the V5 hardware, programming and basic movement (movement and turning, calculating distance, smart encoder overview, remote control overview, timers, mapping functions) and much more including challenges. Day two looks at Robot sensors (touch sensors, line tracking, LCD screen), curriculum implementation and competition. The final day covers competition programming and the new game challenge.

REQUIRED: Participants should bring their own laptop that has Windows 7 or higher and a USB port available.
