General Info

Let’s get ready for 2018-2019 VEX IQ Robotics Competition! At this event we will play the new game, brainstorm strategies/solutions, learn some robot programming, and have students build structures that are commonly used in competition robotics.

This will be a great event to level up your robotics team, or get started in competition robotics if you have the gear but have yet to jump in!

Location: St. Patrick School in Rodeo

Time: May 19, 9am - 1pm

Food: Lunch will be available for purchase

How to prepare:

  1. Get a permission slip for each student.
  2. Review the rules for Next Level. Download the Vex IQ Hub app with Next Level Scoring
  3. Bring a robot to play Next Level. A Clawbot or Stretch are fine. Or check out the new Flex designed for Next Level!
  4. Bring an Autopilot Robot for coding. This is basically a car with sensors stuck on.
