This will be a fun activity-filled event to engage girls in robotics/science. Participants will be able to build a robot, run it through a maze, and learn how to get involved in robotics. Students from USD will faciliatate a science experiment with the girls.
We will also have a diverse panel of local STEM leaders for female students to learn more about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Local girls from the Vermillion Area Robotics Club (VARC) will also work with the girls. Snacks will be provided during this portion of ht epresentation so please let the event organizer know if there is a food allergy.
It will be held in the STREAM lab at Jolley Elementary School, 224 South University, Vermillion, SD 57069
