Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of a bad weather event or an emergency cancellation, the financial obligations of the EP will first be honored, then the remaining funds will be evenly distributed to the teams.  An alternative method of selecting the World Qualifying spots will be developed in consultation with the RECF.

Let's just all hope this doesn't occur....

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: The financial obligations of the EP will first be honored, and then the remaining funds will be distributed evenly to the teams.  An alternative means of determining the World Qualifications spots will be developed in consultation with the RECF.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: If this occurs in sufficient time for a waitlist team to be registered a refund (less $5 for RECF) will be issued.  If there is insufficient time for a qualified substitute to be registered, then there will be no refund.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions with In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.  HERE is a rough video that shows what a coach must do to submit an electronic notebook.

THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS TUESDAY, FEBRUARY  22nd.  By this stage of the season, all qualifying teams should have a valid link available.
