General Info

All approved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices.

Welcome to the 1st Annual Canisius Robotics Over Under Tournament. The event is hosted by the Canisius High School Robotics Team. We will have at least two competition fields, one skills field, and one practice field available. Skills will be open during qualification rounds and lunch (see agenda). Each team will have a table, chairs, and power available to them. We will be using VEXText (optional) and scores will be live updated to the VEX Via app as well as robotevents.com.

Building & Room:
This event will be located in our Auditorium.

Parking:
Cars and busses may drop off students, robots, and equipment in front of the blue doors. Cars can park in either lot.
Busses should try to park on the left side of the school.

Food:
There will be a concession stand open with snacks, drinks and pizza throughout the day.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will make all attempts to run the event, however, the event may be canceled if the school closes, travel conditions become too severe/dangerous, or other things outside of our control. We will be in touch with coaches if there are any travel concerns and will notify them of a decision as soon as we know.

Refunds will not be issued for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, if a team cancels their attendance to this VRC Competition and weather.

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
