General Info

Marlborough High School is excited to be hosting their first home tournament. This is a VRC Over Under qualifying tournament. This tournament will qualify teams to the Southern New England Regional Championships. 

Our event is being held at Marlborough High School, 431 Bolton Street, Marlborough, MA 01752

The event is: January 13, 2024 with a rain date scheduled for January 27, 2024

Our event will be held in our field house where both competition fields and team pits will be located. One pizza will be included in the price of registration for each team. Additional pizza may be ordered at an addtitional cost. All food, and drink should be kept in the caffeteria. Contact Rebecca Linton at rlinton @ mps-edu.org by January 5 to order additional pizzas

Ample parking is available at Marlborough High School. All attendees should enter through the front doors. Handicap parking is available on the left side of the bus turnaround area.

 

Notebooks should be submitted electronically through robotevents.com by January 5th.

Code of Conduct

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We have scheduled January 27th as our rain date. If venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control, the event will be rescheduled for the rain date. If the venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control on the rain date, and the event can not be rescheduled, refunds, minus event costs, will be issued in a timely manner.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: If venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control and the event can not be rescheduled, refunds, minus event costs, will be issued within a timely manner.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be made after Registration closes, if team withdraws from event prior to registration closing, full refund will be issued within a timely manner.

Teams with unpaid balances on RobotEvents.com: will be placed on the waitlist the week prior to event, unless they have made payment arrangements with the Event Partner.

 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
