General Info
Friendship Collegiate Academy Early College High School is located directly across from the Minnesota Avenue (Orange Line) Metro station. We annually host FLL and Vex robotics tournaments. Participation in our VRC tournament makes any DC organization or LEA eligible for the DC State VRC Championship, which is a qualifier for Worlds.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Friendship Public Charter Schools will broadcast Emergency/Bad Weather closings over local radio and TV news stations. The tournament will be cancelled if the Friendship Public Charter Schools are closed.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: A full refund will be given if notified at least 7 business days from the tournament date. Any cancellations within the week of the tournament are subject to a partial refund. No Shows forfeit their refunds.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
