General Info
The STEM Innovation Academy VRC Tournament event will be held in the main atrium at STEM Innovation Acadym High School, in Calgary.
There is room for 32 teams and will have two competition fields, at least one skills field, and at least one practice field.
Seating area and balcony will be available for spectators to view the fields. Classrooms will be used as team pit areas.
We are happy to offer cafeteria service during the event. Please go the "Cafeteria Service" tab see more information and make pre-orders.
All teams are scheduled to have at least 6 qualification matches. Elimination rounds will consist of 16 alliances of 2 teams.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

7:30am - Doors open, registration open, pits open, inspection opens
9:00am - Opening ceremonies and driver meeting
9:30am - 12:00 pm - Qualifications, skills challenges and judging begins
12:00pm - 12:45 pm - Lunch
12:45pm - 3:15 pm - Qualifications, skills challenges and judging continue
3:30pm - Alliance selection
3:45pm - Elimination Round

We will run this event in almost any weather as long as STEM Innovation Academy is open.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Full refunds will be provided to teams.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
STEM Innovation Academy is unable to refund money to teams that withdraw or do not attend.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
