About the Organizers
The VEX KAIAC League & Korea Nationals are organized by a volunteer-group of dedicated VEX enthusiasts with extensive VEX Worlds experience. The main drive of the organization is run by the VEX Korea Student Ambassadors (one student per grade from grades 9 through 12 that have attended VEX Worlds) with the oversight of an appointed and current faculty member of a KAIAC school. The organizers' purpose is to provide a platform for VEX teams a to prepare for the world championships and support growth of the VEX community in South Korea.
All Event/Finals/Nationals Location
To ensure all fields/game elements are consistent in all events, including KAIAC Finals and Korea Nationals, all events will be hosted at Seoul Foreign School for the 2023 VEX Competition - Over Under.
What to Bring (Must Bring Bolded Items):
- One robot
- Engineering notebook
- Team license plates (Red and Blue)
- Safety glasses
- Water bottle
- Extra batteries, controllers, cables, motors, & brain if available
- Battery charger
- Power strip
- Basic tools & parts that might be needed for robot repairs
- Paper template that shows outlines of all custom-cut plastic to demonstrate size limits
- Laptop with code base, and laptop charger
KAIAC League
The KAIAC League is comprised of five events that registered KAIAC Teams may choose to compete in, with a minimum requirement to compete in three of the five events to qualify for the KAIAC Finals. KAIAC Teams must be registered and signed up for their minimum three events with the VEX KAIAC League & Korea Nationals by October 20, 2023. After this date, KAIAC Teams may join additional events to what they are already signed up for but may not change their signed up event dates.
All five KAIAC League event results will be factored in the algorithm of how the KAIAC Finals will take place. The allocation of alliance teams and how the tournament bracket is set up is automatically formulated by the VEX Tournament Manager program and the organizers do not have any weigh over how the brackets are set up.

Non-KAIAC Teams
To engage and strengthen all VEX teams in Korea, two KAIAC events have are open for Non-KAIAC Teams to register. To attend the Korea Nationals, all Non-KAIAC Teams must have attended a minimum of one KAIAC event.
Non-KAIAC Teams must be registered and signed up for their minimum one event with the VEX KAIAC League and Korea Nationals by October 18, 2023. After this date, Non-KAIAC Teams may join the second additional event to what they are already signed up for but may not change their event dates.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weathers or emergencies where the event has to be cancelled, the EP will reschedule the event and communicate with those registered for the cancelled event.

There are no fees associated with this event.
Judging Format
- In-Person Judging - The Team Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
