Prior to Tournament Day, please:

  • Complete Participant Consent and Release Forms for every team member, coach, and mentor
  • Upload all Participant Consent & Release Forms, using the instructions here: https://www.roboticseducation.org/documents/2018/03/participant-release-form.pdf/ OR bring the completed paper copy to hand in at Team Registration.  If you already handed them in at the Belfast tournament, we have them and you are all set.  As long as there are no changes, you don't have to hand them in again.
  • Read each tab at this site 
  • Confirm the accuracy of your team information in the Team List tab.  
  • Update your Team Name, if needed.  This information will be used to print team signs.
  • Engineering notebooks are optional but encouraged.  An Engineering notebook must be submitted to qualify for the Excellence Award and the Design Award.

Tournament Day Details:

  • Bring your own extension cords and safety glasses.  Label everything.
  • Buses can turn onto North Academy Street and drop teams off at the high school gym entrance and park in the parking lot across the street.
  • Two match fields, one Skills Challenge field, and one Practice field will be set up.
  • The Practice field will open at 8:15.  Your team must have passed inspection before using the Practice field.  Please reset the field when done.
  • Each team will have a Pit space, with a table, team sign, and chairs as available.
  • There will be large screens that will display the match scores and rankings.
  • All cutting will take place outside (a table and extension cord will be provided).
  • Breakfast, lunch, and water will be provided, at no charge, to teams and coaches.
  • Feel free to bring in additional food and drinks.  Eating and drinking are allowed in the gym, and we expect teams to clean up their Pit Areas.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of emergency, every effort will be made to hold the competition on the following day (Thursday, February 15th, 2024).  Coaches will be notified as soon as a decision is made.
