General Info

Event is free to Regional Robotics members.

Event will be held in the Cafeteria in the back of the building.  A map with directions will be sent out to participants a week before the event.  

PLEASE make sure we have a valid email AND phone number on file in case of cancelation.  

Pizza will be available for purchase for lunch (n email with a head count and cheese vs peperoni would be appreciated).  There are no food options within a mile of the school.  Feel free to bring your own food if needed.

There will be snacks sold at the event as well.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Please feel free to call John Knox at (814)873-8432 with any questions.  This time of year near the lake there is a significant chance of cancelation.  We determine cancelation in stages.  Please make sure we have your email and phone number on file.  We will make a determination 24, 12 and 3 hours before the event in the case of a major weather event (for cancelation, we will never cancel and then reinstate the event).  We can have a lake effect snow event that comes out of nowhere this time of year.  Start time could also be impacted.  In any event we will send out notifications before the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

No charge for Regional members

If the Event Partner cancels the event: We will refund 100%

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: We will refund 100% if canceled at least 24 hours before the event.  There will be no cancelations within 24 hours of the event.

 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
