General Info
The GEARS/PigPen Robotics League is an invitation-only league. If you would like to register, please add your team to the waiting list. The league is intended to be an informal and relaxed opportunity for teams to gain valuable match practice and to get to know one another better. While 8 regular sessions will be offered, every team will not participate on every league night. To participate in the league, a team must be able to commit to a minimum of four regular sessions. Because of limited facility space, spectators will be limited.
There will not be state spots for judged awards.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer
We welcome attending coaches and parents to volunteer to help on league nights.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Events may be rescheduled in the case of bad weather. Teams will be informed via email.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: All teams will be refunded minus the $5 fee to RobotEvents.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refunds will be made if that team is able to be replaced with another team before the league begins.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person during the league. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
