General Info
Welcome to the 2023-24 SLOTown Over/Under Showdown. The tournament will take place in our brand new Commons area located near the top of the campus. Provided maps will show best routes to tournament location by vehicle for equipment load in and load out. Vehicles will need to be parked in the lot at the front of the school except for loading.
We will have 2 competition fields, a skills field and a practice field.
There are currently 32 slots for this tournament, and a maximum of 5 teams per organization are allowed. Make sure that you are marked as paid (or PO received) two weeks in advance or you may be replaced with a team from the waitlist.
Teams need to arrive by 8:15am so that they can be inspected before the 8:45am deadline. Teams that have not checked in by 8:30am will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run.Teams that are running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If weather causes travel delays or prevents teams from competing, a refund (less the $5 RobotEvents fee) may be available. Contact [email protected] before the beginning of the event. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in your RobotEvents.com account in case we need to contact your team prior to the event.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Due to the costs involved with this event, any refunds will be given after all the event expenses has been paid.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Only under extraordinary circumstances and at the discretion of the EPs will the team will be given a full refund (minus the $5 robotevents fee). Otherwise, no refund will be given.
Teams that have not paid by the deadline will be moved to the waitlist.
Health and Safety Policies
Any applicable health and safety protocols will be communicated within 2 weeks of the event, based on local health department guidelines.
Webcast
Tournament will be streamed live on YouTube on the SLOHS-TNN youtube channel.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

There is an access road behind the campus that can be entered from the District Office on Lizzie St. to allow teams to load robots and equipment. Vehicles must move back to either the District Office Parking Lot or the Parking Lot in front of the school.
