General Info

As this is an event that qualifies a team from Japan for the World Championship, priority will be given to schools based in Japan for registration. 

If a team from Japan wins the Excellence award they can earn a spot to the World Championship. If the Excellence award goes to a team from outside Japan, the Japanese based team with the highest Robot Skills score (combined programming and driver) at the event will earn the World Championship spot.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Event is indoors. In the event of severe weather the event may be cancelled. Teams will be notified accordingly.

Refund and Payment Policies

Event payments are expected when you register for the event and must be completed 3 weeks prior to the event date. Payment should be made in USD. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on my waitlist to register. Please contact me if there are considerations to be made.

No refunds after Dec 15th.

Invoices will be shared with schools including bank transfer information.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
