General Info

Come and join us for our second VRC competition in our historic stone school building and campus on the west bank of the Hudson River in Esopus NY.  We are located just off Route 9W and mid-way between the New Paltz and Kingston exits on the NYS Thruway.  

Free WIFI is available. Concession details to be announced closer to the date.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather, all team advisors will be contacted via email. While weather can be unpredictable, we will make a decision by 5:00am the day of the event, if not earlier. Up to date information will be available on WRRV Storm Center at https://wrrv.com/snow-closings-delays/ and at the Mount Academy website at www.mountacademy.org. Please check either website before you leave for the tournament.

In the event of a snow event or other postponement, we will make every effort to reschedule.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will be granted if an email is sent to the EP at least 2 weeks before the event.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
