Welcome the 2nd annual Bow Bot Bout hosted by Bow High School  We look forward to providing an exciting tournament in a comfortable setting.

This event is a qualifier for the NH/VT State Championship!

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

12:30 pm to 3:00 pm - Qualification Matches Continue

2:45 pm - Alliance Selection

3:00 pm - Elimination matches begin

4:30 pm - Awards ceremony

5:00 pm - Event ends

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of impending inclement weather, please monitor this tab for any announcements.  The primary contact for registered teams will also be emailed and called.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  All monies will be refunded except for the $5 Robot Events portion.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  Refunds will be granted on a case by case basis under extreme circumstances, and only if a replacement team can found to take your place.  No refunds will be given after January 3.

Health and Safety Policies

Please respect your peers and stay at home if you are not feeling well.

In the event of a commuinty health emergency, informaiton will be updated on the Emergency/Bad Weather tab, as well as notificaiton to the primary contact of registered teams via email.

We are located at 55 Falcon Way in Bow, NH.  

Please drop off team members and equipment at the main entrance and then proceed to a marked parking spaces.  Numbered spaces are OK to use for the event!

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
