General Info

The Lorain County League will run the Elyria High School Makerspace.

There will be 2 competition fileds, 1 skills field and 1 practice field. 

We will offer a full concession stand featuring pizza for each session. There will be no dinner break. 

Session 1 - October 25, 2023 from 3:30 - 7:30pm

Session 2 - November 15, 2023 from 3:30 - 7:30pm

Session 3 - December 13, 2023 from 3:30 - 7:30pm

Session 4 (Judging and Finals) - February 7, 2024 from 3:30 - 7:30pm

 

Due to space limitations, there is no room for spectators. This is a coach and team only event. All matches will be live streamed.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Coaches will be contacted via email or phone based on the registration information in the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled minus the $5 REC processing fee.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: registration fees will not be refunded.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges
