Volunteering

We can’t do the event without volunteers. We appreciate our volunteers and in appreciation, we’ll provide breakfast and lunch. Each participating team must provide at least one (1) volunteer for all or a portion of the day. Use the below link to the Sign-Up Genius to select your volunteer position. If you need a certificate of your volunteer hours make the request during check-in and it will be provided at the end of the event.

Engineering Notebooks

No Digital formats. Be prepared to turn-in your paper Engineering Notebook at check-in for judging.

Food

Teams may bring in own food or go out to lunch. Lunch is only 30 minutes.

On-site concessions will be available.  Pizza by the slice.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Should we have to cancel the event we will refund teams, minus the non-refundable $5.00 RobotEvents fee.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds can be issued up to 2 weeks before the event, but the Coach will need to provide necessary tax documents in order for the refund to be processed. Contact the event organizer if you have any questions. 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
