General Info

PYRS BC Winter Qualifier @ Southridge School

Due on to ongoing construction at Southridge, please follow posted signs. Pit areas and practice field will be in the Senior School great hall and cafe spaces, easily accessed through the large wooden doors. Competitions fields will be in the senior school gym, however there is no direct access currently so please follow the signs directing you outside to the available gym entrances. Pop-up tents will be in place to provide cover in case of inclement weather.

Please respect the reserved parking spaces for other events occuring at the school. You are encouraged to drop off robots and equipment at the front of the school prior to parking.

Concession in the gym will be open from 11:00am - 3:00pm with pizza, chops, drinks, and more (maybe donuts!)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified at their registered email address in the event of a schedule disruption, change, or cancellation.

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams can cancel with 1 week notice. Teams that cancel with less than 1 week notice, will be billed for the full cost of the event if the waitlist is exhausted and your spot is empty.

Under limited circumstances PYRS will review on a case-by-case basis. 

Payment Methods: Cheque payable to Pacific Youth Robotics Society or Cash

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
