General Info
Bellefontaine City Schools is proud to host this year's Vex Robotics Competition "Over Under". This will be an all day competition so check out the agenda for the day.
Food:
- Lunch will be provided to all participants...pizza, bottled water and chips.
- A Concession Stand will be open for breakfast and lunch for drinks, snacks and hot items.
- There will be a hospitality room provided for the judges, advisors and volunteers
Matches & Judging:
- Each team will have six qualifying matches. The tournament will proceed with 2-team alliances
- Please familiarize yourself and your team withe the "Over Under" official rules. The Game Manual is a good places to start.
Miscellaneous Information:
- All pit table will have access to power. Please bring a surge protector/power strip to make sure you have enough outlets for your team
- We will try to have a dedicated Wi-Fi network available for teams to access during this event. Please check to make sure your technology is set up for accessing connectivity while you are away from your building.
- Make sure your teams have filled out their VRC Particiapant release form

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer
Volunteers are an important part of every event and we acknowledge that these events would be impossible without them. We appreciate those volunteers who are willing to give of their time for the benefit of our students!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, we will make every attempt to contact all coaches by email, phone or text, as well as make announcements through social media of any changes of the event or the event schedule.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: We will try to reschedule but will not be able to issue any refunds due to the cost of putting on our event.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
There will be no refunds for individual team cancellations.
Health and Safety Policies
Bellefontaine City Schools prides itself on a clean and safe environment. The most of the building will be available to use for the event. We will have a first aid kit available for an emergency and we have an AED device in the Cafeteria.
We have no restrictions for any health issues at this time. Should anything change we will update this page.

Judging Format
In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews AND Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person on the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
Judges will be working in accordance with the Judge Guide, which states that "All teams being judged for an event should be judged in the same format to ensure consistency in the judging experience." PLEASE NOTE...if a team has a digital engineering notebook, these must be printed IN ADVANCE in order for the team to submit a physical copy to the judges. Links to an online version or flash drives will not be accepted.
