Welcome to the 10th Annual VRC Grizzly Challenge - Middle. We look forward to hosting you!

This event is looking for Volunteers!  To help support our tournament, we are asking all teams to have a person volunteer., Check out the Volunteer Tab for more information!

Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents Fee.

Event Information Packet 

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission Deadline for Notebooks will be communicated with Registered Teams via Email.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Friday night Inspection 4 - 6pm

  • Make sure you are completely ready for inspection questions

 

Saturday - will do our best to stay on time

8:00 - 9:00 Check-In and Inspection 

8:00 - 9:30 Skills open and Judging interviews begins 

9:05 - 9:20 Event Meeting 

9:30 - 12:30 Qualification matches and skills

12:30 - 1:00 Lunch

1:00 - 2:00 Qualification matches & skills

2:15 - 2:45 Alliance

3:00 - 4:30 Finals Brackets + Awards

4:30 - 5:30 Clean Up 

Volunteer

We are looking for 1 Volunteer from each participating Team.These volunteers help make sure the tournaments run smoothly.  

Jobs we are looking for:

  • Check In Table

  • Robot Inspection - will be train onsite 

  • Queuing Manager

  • Pit Manager

  • Field Reset (3rd Grade and up!)

  • Judges

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER (as determined by SVVSD) the tournament will be canceled and no refunds will be available.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment Deadline:

Payments for this tournament are due the Tuesday prior to the event @ 4:00 PM MST

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
