General Info

Welcome to the Monmouth Spin Up VRC Qualifier!

We are pleased to host our fifth in-person VRC tournament in Monmouth and look forward to reconnecting with teams across the state.

We hope to offer separate MS and HS Excellence Awards, so bring your middle-school teams!  We need at least ten to offer a separate award.

Our team will be fundraising by selling breakfast, lunch, and snack items at the event, so bring your appetites and some cash.

A designated cutting station will be provided at the event.  Use of power tools is prohibited in pit areas.

We will be collecting physical copies of notebooks on the day of the event.  Please submit them at the registration table when checking in.

Event Preparation:

  1. Review the updated game manual.
  2. Run through this season's inspection checklist.
  3. Make sure that all students have filled out the participant release form.
  4. Pack for the event the day before the day of departure. Here are a few items that you don't want to forget:
    • Safety Glasses
    • Batteries and Chargers
    • Laptop
    • Spare Parts and Tools
    • Power Strips - We will provide one per table, but you can never have enough.
  5. Prepare for your interviews with the judges.
  6. Safety first.  Please don't bring tools that pose a safety risk to your team or others nearby. Monmouth will set up a designated cutting area (no power tools in pit areas).
