General Info

This event is hosted by Legacy Magnet Academy's robotics program and all proceeds from this event are used to sustain robotics at Legacy. More details will be sent in your registration email and closer to the day of the event.

Live-streaming and on-site free wi-fi will be provided. Lunch will not be provided.

We hope you enjoy our event and are looking forward to hosting Southern California VEX teams once again. Thank you for helping us provide a safe opportunity for students to compete this season.

7:30 am to 8:45 am Practice Field Opens - 2 teams on field for 5 mins - first come first serve

8:00 am to 9:15 am Robot Inspection

9:00 am  Meeting & Opening Ceremony

9:15 am Qualifying Matches Begin

12:00 pm Lunch

12:30 pm Qualifying Matches Resume

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Only in extreme circumstances will this event be canceled. In this circumstance, refunds will be made available minus any potential costs charged by the RobotEvents.com website.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Refunds will be issued minus the cost to robot events. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will be made available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus any potential costs charged by the RobotEvents.com website. If you do not withrawal two weeks before the event, refunds will not be issued. 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
