General Info
Welcome to the 4th annual Native American VEX Robotics Competition Showcase Event, hosted by the White Mountain Apache Tribe of Whiteriver, Arizona, the Whiteriver Unified School District and Apache Behavioral Health Services.
This event is designed to allow Native American VRC teams from the across North America to come together to enjoy a fun robotics competition and showcase their culture. Teams are encouraged to prepare a physical display on their local culture, that can be set up at the venue for both participants and spectators to enjoy. Please contact Catalina Carrillo [email protected] for instructions on any cultural presentations or exhibits your team may bring.
To be eligible to compete teams must have more than 50% of actively participating members recognized as Native American or Indigenous American. Coaches will be responsible for guaranteeing their teams meet this requirement. Teams wishing to participate but have not yet registered for the event may send an email to [email protected] and your Native American team will be manually added to the event.
