General Info
Placer Robotics League, VRC MS Over Under Division, is for teams in Placer County and nearby communities - the league is by invite only. Please register into the Waitling list to be considered for this league.
Here’s is how the league works:
Qualifiers (Ranking Sessions) – Teams must compete in at least 60% of the following qualifying events. All teams are encouraged to participate in all three dates if possible.
League Championship - This is the season finale and will run as a bracketed tournament! Teams will be ranked according to their season records. Alliance selection will be based on rankings. A league champion will be crowned as well as State qualifiers. Multiple judged awards will be presented as well.
Skills will be offered Teams are allowed to run up 3 Driver and 3 Programming Skills at each session,
There may not be dedicated practice fields - show up with your robots ready to start matches.

Please note: all events will receive state championship award bids based on the REC Foundation Qualifying Criteria. As such, this event must meet all requirements for a Qualifying Event to receive bids to the state championship released in July 2023.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
No refunds unless the event is cancelled.
If the event is cancelled, a full event registration (minus $5) refund will be given to all paid teams.
Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted a PO 3-weeks prior to the event will be removed from the event unless special arrangement has been made with the Event Partner.
Health and Safety Policies
COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: None currently. Placer Robotics reserves the right to require masks or limit particiation based on public health conditions at the time of the event.
Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
- Team Interviews may be conducted remotely / in person, or a combination of the two
