The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Bad weather? In February? In Indiana? Nah.
Ok, well - if we need to cancel we will attempt to reschedule. If we are unable to schedule we will process refunds.
Refund and Payment Policies
If we are forced to cancel due to weather, we will attempt to reschedule for the next available weekend. If a team is unable to attend due to the event being rescheduled, we will honor refund requests. If we cannot reschedule we will refund all entry fees.
Should a team not be able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. We will be able to refund entry fees up to a week before the event. We will not offer refunds to no-shows without valid reasons.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
