General Info
The Salem Friday Night VRC Tournament is hosted by West Salem Robotics club and it is an Oregon Region only event. The event is being held in the commons area of West Salem High School. Please enter from the Doaks Ferry Road side of campus.
This event was created for teams that will be travelling to Salem and for local teams that have not yet qualified for state. If are a local team that has qualified for state please consider registering for the Saturday event.
After passing inspection teams will participate in Qualifying Rounds, Alliance Selection and Elimination Rounds. There will also be a field open for Skills Challenge runs. Teams will be limited to three Driving and three Programming Skills Challenge runs.
As an early tournament please do not be intimidated if your robot is still 'in development'. Many veteran teams will be at the event and they are great resources to help your team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Coaches will be notified if the event is cancelled. Coaches will be responsible for determining if it is safe to travel to and from the events for their teams.

Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
