General Info

The College of Southern Maryland is proud to host our annual competition. Doors will open at 7:00AM with registration and inspection 7:30AM - 8:30AM. Teams not registered and inspected by 8:30AM will not be added to match schedule. Please plan to arrive by 7:30AM to allow time to set-up.

The event will be held in the BI building on the La Plata Campus.

Each participant (student, teacher, coach, mentor, or volunteer) needs to fill out and sign a consent form.

Code of Conduct

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be emailed if there is a closing or delay due to inclement weather or a campus emergency.  Refunds will only be made in the event of an emergency closing or inclement weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will be made in the event of inclement weather or campus closing on the primary and the snow date.

The $5 Robotevents processing fee cannot be refunded.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
