Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

9:00 AM Qualification Matches Begin (Main Gym)

No prior experience is required.  Online training resources will be available upon request.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Weather Decision will be made 24 hours prior to the start of the competition.  In the event of bad weather, updates will be sent by email. Per CMCSS policy, if the district cancels schools after school activities will also be cancelled.  

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will only be issued under the following conditions:

1. Severe Weather forces cancellation and

2. Event is not rescheduled.

If the event is cancelled, the $5.00 ROBOT EVENTS Registration Fee will not be refunded

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
