General Info

Bancroft Robotics is delighted to be hosting this VRC Under Over qualifying tournament. This tournament will qualify teams for Southern New England Regional Championships. The event is being held at Bancroft School, 110 Shore Drive, Worcester, MA 01605.

The event date is February 10, 2024.

The event will be held in a single-level athletic facility. The competition will be held in the Wood Gym. The Team Pit area is in the Tan Gym, teams will be directed there upon arrival.  The dining hall (in a separate building but on the same level) will be open for spectators and team members to enjoy their food. 

Lunch will be provided to student team members and their adult coach(s).

A concession stand will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Ample parking is available.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control and the event can not be rescheduled, refunds, minus event costs, will be issued within two months of event date.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: If venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control and the event can not be rescheduled, refunds, minus event costs, will be issued within two months of event date.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be made after Registration closes, if team withdraws from event prior to registration closing, full refund will be issued within two months of event date.

Teams with unpaid balances on RobotEvents.com: will be placed on the waitlist the week prior to event, unless they have made payment arrangements with the Event Partner.

The event will be held at Bancroft School, 110 Shore Drive, Worcester, MA 01605.

Signs will be posted at the entrance to the school. There is plenty of parking available.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.

Digital Engineering Notebook submissions most be posted on RobotEvents.com by February 2, 2024 to be considered for Judged Awards that require an Engineering Notebook.  Physical notebooks brought to event can not be considered in the Judging process.
