General Info

This event does not have Early Bird Registration enabled, but may impact Early Bird registrations for other events. Please see this link for more information.

This event is held in the North Andover High School field house. There is plenty of space for parking, the public is welcome to attend free of charge. We'll have concessions for snack and lunch. 

Teams that register by December 1, will receive 1 free pizza per team.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

7:30 am: Doors open to teams, preparation
7:30-8:45am: Robot Inspection
8:45 am: Opening Ceremony
9:00 to 12:00pm: Qualifying Matches, optional skills challenges
12:00 to 12:45pm: Lunch (Concession and Snack Stand Open All Day)
12:45 to 4:30pm: Qualifying matches and Elimination Matches. Skills will be open during qualifying rounds.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of severe weather, coaches will be notified of event status. Updated information will be posted on this event page. 

Refund and Payment Policies

In the event of cancellation due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances, teams should contact Mike Motherway for a refund. 

No refunds after registration closes.  Teams with unpaid balances will be placed on the waitlist one week prior to event.

Refunds will be issued within two months of event date.

Judging Format

 

  •  In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
