General Info

The Zionsville Community High School Steel Eagles and Greenfield Central Robotics are pleased to welcome you to the 2024 Zionsville Winter VRC Tournament!

We will have a skills field open throughout the day.

Please enter at Door 3, which is on the south side of the school.

A full concession stand will be available and a Pizza Order Form link will be posted closer to the competition date.

We will be judging electronic notebooks.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

All posted match times are approximate, and we will strive to run the event as efficiently as possible, on time, and we will allow matches to get ahead of the posted times if we are able.  

Doors open at 7:00 AM and inspections will start by 7:15 AM. Please come with your robot ready for inspection so we can get started on time.

7:15 AM: Inspection

8:30  AM: Driver's Meeting

9:00 AM: Qualification rounds begin

12:00 PM:  Lunch

12:30 PM:  Qualifications Resume

2:40 PM Qualification rounds end

2:50 PM: Alliance Selection

3:10 PM Elimination Rounds

4:15 Awards and Conclude

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Coaches will be contacted via email in the event of a disruption due to weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: A full refund will be given minus the $5 team fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be given.

Payment is due 10 days prior to the event.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Notebooks will be submitted electronically.
