General Info

Welcome to the Cornerstone Robotics Over Under Winter Tournament!  We are excited about this opportunity to host your team(s). We strive to provide a great experience for your students that is competitive yet encouraging and inviting. 

Release forms: Participant Release Form must be filled out by all participants by January 6th.

Digital Upload of Notebooks Required:  If your team is submitting a notebook, please upload your notebook to RobotEvents by Saturday, January 6th at 9 AM. This will give judges adequate time to review each notebook. 

Pizza and concessions:  A pizza order form link will be sent via email as the tournament draws near. Donuts, coffee, chips, candy, ice cream, and beverages will also be available for purchase at our concession stand.  

Inspections:  Coaches, please help speed up our inspection process by checking your students' robots prior to the day of the event, as well as making sure firmware to the brain is updated. 

Skills Field:  Your team may enter the skills field line as soon as they have passed inspection. The skills field will close promptly when qualification matches are complete. 

Awards: Indiana is such a strong robotics state, so we strive to honor many teams at our tournament. We'll be handing out many trophies! Click on the "Awards" tab to check out the awards.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If weather, a local emergency, or enhanced coronavirus restrictions cause us to cancel or modify the schedule for this event, all teams will be notified via email.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner has  to cancel the event: teams will be refunded registration fees minus the $5 non-refundable fee to the REC Foundation. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Due to the costs of preparing and running the event, our standard refund policy is that we do not issue refunds.

There will be no webcast for this event.

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - We take judging very seriously and we strive to bring your teams an excellent in-person judging experience. We will have a panel of 8-10 judges. Each team will be interviewed.
