General Info

This event does not have Early Bird Registration enabled, but may impact Early Bird registrations for other events. Please see this link for more information.

If you have a field that you would be willing to bring, please email me at [email protected] so that I can wave your entry fee.

There is limited parking avalable at the venue, so please carpool if possible.  There is on street parking, but it may be a fair walk.

If we get enough volunteer support, we may offer judged awards.

A concession stand will be available with light snacks and beverages, but you can also bring your own food and drinks.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

9am Doors open, Inspection begins. 

9:15am Skills fields open

10:15am Drivers meeting

10:30am Qualifications start

12pm-12:45pm Lunch break

3pm Aliance Selection

3:15pm Elimination Matches

Awards will be held directly after the final match

We will attempt to be cleaned up before 5pm

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event will be cancelled due to an emergency or bad weather, we will attempt do so before 6 am the day of the competition. 

We will attempt to rescedule the competition based on the avalability of the teams.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the event is cancelled, you may request a refund. There will be no individual refunds if the event runs as a qualifying event.

If there are not enough teams to qualify for states (16) the event will be turned into a scrimmage.

Judging Format

At the moment, we will be having no judging.  However we may have in person judging if we get enough volunteer support.

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
