General Info

Welcome to the Belmont Bot Bash hosted by Shaker Regional Robo Raiders!

This event will be held in the gymnasium at Belmont High School located at 255 Seavey Road, Belmont, NH 03220. The pit area will open at 7:30am and will be located in the cafeteria. 

Teams should bring extension cords. Access to wifi may not be available.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

7:30 am to 8:30 am  - Pits open, Team Registration and Inspection

8:00 am -  Skills Field Open

8:45 am - Drivers meeting

9:00 am - Opening ceremony

9:15 am - Competition matches and Judging begins

Noon to 12:30 pm - Lunch break

12:30 pm to 2:00 pm - Qualification Matches Continue

2:15 pm - Alliance Selection

2:30 pm - Elimination matches

3:15 - Awards ceremony

Volunteer

Shaker Regional Robo Raiders are looking for volunteers to help out!

We can use help with resetting fields, directing robot traffic at the queuing tables, judging for awards, refereeing qualification and tournament matches, operation concessions, and other items. 

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Amira Provost at [email protected]. We will reach out to all our volunteers closer to the event date.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds are given on a case by case basis under extreme circumstances and a replacement team can found to take your place. 

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
