Feel free to wear halloween costumes to the event as long as they are school appropriate.

Consent forms are required for all students, mentors, and coaches on a VRC teams. Consent forms are now done online one time at https://www.robotevents.com/consent and are good for the entire season at all RECF run events.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We do not anticipate a weather-related cancellation due to the season and location. If weather prevents or delays your trip to the event from elsewhere in Arizona, please contact us as soon as possible.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be given (minus the $5 RobotEvents fee), unless other circumstances apply.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If your registration prevented someone else from registering, you may not receive a refund.
If a team is able to take your place, you will receive a refund (minus the $5 RobotEvents fee).
Payment is due by 10/07/23; if a team has not paid by this date, they will be moved to the waiting list and others may take their spot.

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
